Google Develops Smart Contact Lens That Measures Glucose Levels.

In an “ambitious leap forward” for wearable technology, Google announced it is developing a smart contact lens that would measure glucose trough a wireless chip and miniaturized glucose sensor. The company “hopes the technology could help people manage diabetes better.” Because glucose level checks “are usually disruptive or painful,” diabetes sufferers don’t always perform them as often as they should.
